Google & Browser Choice Alliance Presents: Troubleshooting
Role: Associate Creative Director • Co-Director • Story Producer • Writer • Copywriter
For Google and Browser Choice Alliance, I helped develop Troubleshooting, a social-first mockumentary series that transformed browser frustration into workplace comedy. Inspired by shows like The Office and Parks and Recreation, the campaign personified Microsoft's browser tactics as a cast of hilariously overbearing coworkers, making a complex consumer issue instantly relatable through character-driven storytelling.
As Associate Creative Director, I helped shape the creative from concept through production, developing a four-episode series designed to educate audiences while delivering genuinely entertaining, social-native content.
Episode 1: Pete's First Day
Episode 2: The Deadline
Episode 3: The Printer
Episode 4: The Report
Alongside the flagship Troubleshooting series, I helped develop a collection of companion character spotlights that expanded the campaign's world while reinforcing each browser tactic through comedy.
Framed as tongue-in-cheek workplace "masterclasses," these short-form pieces gave each creator a chance to fully embody their character, blending mock interview segments with standout moments from the series. The result was a set of highly shareable social assets that deepened the narrative, strengthened the campaign's messaging, and let each comedic personality shine on their own.
